We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Solutions Engineering Manager/Leader to build and scale our solutions engineering practice from the ground up.

This is a unique opportunity to own the strategy and execution of our product demonstration process. You will start as an individual contributor, building a robust foundation that will shape our go-to-market approach. As the team grows, you will hire, mentor, and lead a team of solutions engineers, transforming how we showcase our product to ensure every demo is impactful, scalable, and tailored to our prospects’ unique needs.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating a scalable, repeatable process from scratch and a deep understanding of the technical sales lifecycle. You will be a hands-on leader who can both define the vision and execute the work, setting the standard for technical storytelling and value delivery in a competitive market.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the founding member of our Solutions Engineering team, you’ll be the primary technical leader for our sales motion. This means you’ll be:

  • Pioneering the Strategy: Defining the vision for our solutions engineering practice, including demo environments, technical narratives, and best practices.
  • Building the Foundation: Acting as a hands-on individual contributor, creating and maintaining robust, complex technical environments using scripting, APIs, and cloud services.
  • Showcasing the Value: Partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to develop key narratives and compelling value propositions for product demonstrations.
  • Executing with Excellence: Delivering impactful, tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value of TheLoops to prospects.
  • Developing the Playbook: Creating the core resources, documentation, and training materials that will enable the future solutions team and the broader sales organization to succeed.
  • Recruiting and Scaling: As the business grows, you’ll be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and leading a team of solutions engineers, building a high-performing and collaborative team.
  • Providing Strategic Feedback: Acting as the voice of the customer, sharing insights and feedback with the Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.

What We’re Looking For

We are an AI company, so you should approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to make faster, smarter decisions.

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar technical leadership role.
  • You have demonstrated experience building, managing, or significantly contributing to a solutions engineering or technical sales enablement program.
  • You have proven hands-on experience in building and maintaining complex technical environments (e.g., scripting languages, APIs, and cloud services).
  • You possess exposure to next-generation AI tools, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and AI Agents.
  • You have experience with a modern SaaS tech stack, including API integrations and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
  • You have a deep knowledge of the sales process and a track record of collaborating effectively with sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • You’re a natural leader who is equally comfortable as a hands-on individual contributor and a strategic manager.

What Success Looks Like in 3-6 Months

Within your first 3-6 months, you will have successfully demonstrated your impact by:

  • Defining the Strategy: You will have created a comprehensive strategy and playbook for our solutions engineering practice, including a clear vision for demo environments and technical narratives.
  • Building the Foundation: You will have built and maintained the core demo environments, establishing a repeatable and scalable process for delivering impactful product demonstrations.
  • Driving Revenue: You will have successfully partnered with the sales team to deliver key product demos, directly contributing to pipeline growth and closing deals.
  • Strategic Alignment: You will have established strong relationships with the Sales, Product, and Marketing teams, ensuring our demo strategy is aligned with the overall go-to-market plan.
